Angelic Shamanism

Angel
by Moses Landon Umalo, IAAP Certified Angel Practitioner™

It is no use walking anywhere to preach unless our walking is our preaching. This quote by Saint Francis of Assisi has influenced my spiritual practice as an Angelic Practitioner and Spiritual Medium. I am often asked for my perspective as an angelic shaman. This article highlights my personal insights on how angelic shamanism has evolved as a divine channel to help humanity.

What is an Angel?

Angelic connections can have a loving, profound impact in our lives. That is why, many beautiful souls seek to connect with their guardian angels or have the desire to find a practitioner to channel angelic guidance. As an angelic practitioner, it is important to recognize that angels establish connections in a personal way. I.A.A.P. teaches practitioners angelology, the study of angels, which reveals angelic teachings and historical references. For instance, angels are described as “messengers of God”; spiritual extensions of God’s pure love and light. Their messages have been instrumental in the history of humanity, including the faith and awakening of many throughout time. That is why angels transcend many different faiths and are accepted by some of the world’s major religions, such as Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. 1
Angels are always ready to assist us at any given moment. God has granted angels with free will. It is the will of most angels to serve God. When calling our angels for assistance, there is nothing too big or too small. 1
Angels are pure spirit energy that God has granted the ability to transfigure into any form they choose. 1 They may appear as light beings with beautiful wings; spheres or sparkles of white or colored light; animal creatures to defend the innocent; or in human form to reveal a message or save others out of harm’s way.

What is a Shaman?

A shaman is a faith healer who honors the past and traditional practices of his/her ancestors, and channels spiritual guidance. Shamans are called by spirit, including angels, to fulfill their purpose in this life, which involves being divine channels of healing and awakened teachers to humanity.

Quantum physics explains that a field of energy connects all of life. Shamans, similarly, describe a sacred web of life that connects everything. Shamanism teaches us that everything that exists is alive and has a spirit, and that we are joined with the Earth and all of life via our spiritual connectedness.2

What is Angelic Shamanism?

An angelic shaman, like myself, is shown a path of service by the angelic realm to channel guidance from angels and archangels. Once they step onto their path, angelic shamans are blessed with angelic wisdom and are connected to their divine channel. This channel allows them access to universal healing energies and the ability to provide messages to humanity. The foundation of angelic shamanism is based in the understanding of everyone’s human experience through angelic teachings, which illuminate the opportunity for soul mastery. As such, angelic shamans are guided by guardian angels and ascended masters to honor their ancestors while incorporating channeled shamanic practices.
In my experience, Archangel Metatron and Archangel Raphael guided me to connect with my Taino ancestors, the indigenous, Arawak people of the Caribbean and Florida.

The Taino, where the Arawakan-speaking people with Mayan, Aztec and Incan origins. At the time of Christopher Columbus’ exploration, they inhabited what are now Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic), Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Once the most numerous indigenous people of the Caribbean, the Taino may have numbered one or two million at the time of the Spanish conquest in the late 15th century.3
They also led me to the Shamanic practice of Munay-Ki, which they describe as a practice full of angelic, divine love, life and compassion. Munay-Ki are the rites of the shaman’s path of the Q’ero Nation, the descendants of the Inka, the indigenous people of the holy mountains of the Andes in Peru. “Munay” means “I love you” or “be as thou art.” “Ki” refers to the life-force energy of our soul. Therefore, its shamanic path is one full of love and light.

My elders of the Q’ero Nation believe that we are at a critical point in history where collective healing is needed. I am grateful that through divine guidance, my elders opened their sacred rites to the world. I am honored to have been chosen to walk this path.

The Rites of the Munay-Ki transform and upgrade your luminous energy field. They are energetic transmissions that heal the wounds of the past. The Munay-Ki helps us become instruments of peace and agents of change and transformation. It is your invitation to dream an entire new world into being. 4

Moreover, the angels told me of the prophecies of the ancient Americas, which speak about a new humanity free of fear and thriving through their angelic and spiritual connection. They also explained that Munay-Ki holds these codes for an evolved human consciousness. This new consciousness strengthens our connection with our angels and divine guidance.

In my practice, I work as a divine angelic channel. Through angelic guidance, I also work with angelic light language, crystals/gemstones, divine energy, herbalism, and sacred sites. My heart is full of gratitude to our angels, who illuminate our path of ascension.
May your days be filled with abundance, blessings, clarity, joy, light and understanding.

My Angelic Shaman’s Prayer:

I pray to my guardian angels to guide me through this beautiful path called life.
May my ancestors light the way for a new Earth for many generations to come.
For I honor those who have come before me and those who are here with me.

As my journey in this life continues to unfold, I pray to remember the mastery of my soul.
May I always be present and surrounded by angelic light to experience all the wonderful aspects of who I am.
Through your divine guidance, I continue to uncover the beauty within.

How great thou art. How great thou art.
Amen.
